He was phenomenal in caring for babies. Bagheera was lucky too. He and his two litter mates were orphaned when they were less than a week old. Their mother died on a Monday morning, and the kittens weren't discovered until Wednesday afternoon. We handraised them. Let me tell you, bottle-fed kittens are a whole different story! Its not just feeding them milk from a bottle either. They made so much noise during their care that we had to lock Koda out because he was convinced we were hurting the babies. Believe me, looking at the disappointment in his eyes when he thought that?? Ugh. Koda got terminally ill and recently went over the rainbow bridge. And then, a little over a month later, Bagheera went missing. Where ever they both are, they have part of my heart.
